Grace Community Food Pantry

In order to protect our volunteers (COVID-19), we have implemented safety measures listed below beginning IMMEDIATELY:

1. There will be no more than 10 volunteers at any given time volunteering.

2. All volunteers will be screened at the door by a trained pantry staff leader.

3. All volunteers will wear gloves while working (no exceptions).

4. All volunteers will have access to masks and hand sanitizer.

5. All volunteers will practice social distancing (6 feet space or more person to person).

Grace Community Food Pantry’s mission is to involve, educate, and unite people in the work of ending hunger in the Atlanta area. 
Pantry volunteers will aid in sorting food items and stocking the shelves of the Food Pantry. Volunteers will organize and unpack the food items that have been delivered, ensure freshness, and monitor quality before supplying the appropriate shelves with designated items. Volunteers will also break down boxes and take cardboard to the recycling bin/trash. Other duties as necessary
In order to handle and stock food in the Food Pantry program, you must be at least 16 years old to volunteer without a chaperone.
Volunteer opportunities in the Pantry are available on
Thursdays, (11am-4pm) and Saturdays, (9am- 1pm), and until further notice. Pantry volunteers will work in different areas to prepare and pack groceries to be distributed to our guests who are less fortunate.

Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes. Parking is Free in our parking lot and we also have parking available in the back of our building.
