Atlanta BeltLine Partnership (King Day 2018)
Atlanta BeltLine Partnership (ABLP) is a non-profit organization funded entirely through private endeavors. ABLP staff members work with neighborhoods, businesses, community and faith organizations, and other groups to raise general awareness, and broad-based support, for the Atlanta BeltLine. ABLP raises funds through private and philanthropic sources, and serves as a catalyst to mobilize resources to achieve the positive social impacts of the Atlanta BeltLine vision. The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership collaborates with Park Pride to coordinate custom volunteer events along the BeltLine corridor and in BeltLine-adjacent parks.
King Day volunteers will help maintain and keep the trail and parks enjoyable for all by cleaning up and removing invasive plants at the future site of Enota Park, currently a small play lot that will ultimately be a five-acre park.
Volunteers as young as 12 can serve with an adult. Court ordered volunteers are permitted to serve. This project is not wheelchair accessible. This project site is located in the Westview neighborhood of Atlanta. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable attire for working outside.
