Age Minimum (with Adult): 14+, Minimum Age:16+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
SVdP Food Pantry Distribution-Chamblee
Do you have a passion for helping others? Then this is the perfect opportunity for YOU!
Respecting, the dignity of others, SVdP Georgia brings hope and help to those in need so they may achieve stability and move towards self-sufficiency by filling the void for working individuals and families struggling to make ends meet. Everyday more and more families are left without food due to the COVID-19 pandemic. SVdP has been working to provide food to families all over the Atlanta-metro area. As needs increase we are working to make sure families are being fed.
Volunteers will also be needed to restock inventory on pantry shelves, replenish refrigerators and freezers, and prepare emergency bags for families and homeless peoples.
If you plan on bringing a group, please email Anterior Leverett at firstname.lastname@example.org
We DO accept court ordered community service requests as long as the charge related to the community service need is not theft related or a violent offense.
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Georgia is an independently funded, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Funding comes from individuals, foundations, corporations, religious institutions and the community at large.
