Volunteer at the Hartnett Community Garden

Help us maintain our Urban Garden & Resiliency Oasis at the Hartnett Community Garden! All are welcome!



We at West Atlanta Watershed Alliance are looking for volunteers to help us maintain the Urban Garden & Resiliency Oasis and the Hartnett Community garden. All who are interested and ready to work should sign up! We look forward to seeing you there. 

Typical garden tasks are as followed:

* Tilling

* Weed removal

* Planting

* Harvesting/ seed harvesting

*Building plant boxes, and compost

*Invasive plant removal

As WAWA Covid-19 Protocol from the recommendation of the CDC states: Social distancing and face mask wearing are mandatory, and will be in affect 

  Work gloves can be provided, and tools will be provided. 

Don't forget to bring your re-fillable water bottle and reusable hot cup (AT WAWA, we are practicing ZERO WASTE initiative as we embark in the first 100 days of 2021). Also, as apart of our Covid-19 safety protocol, we ask all volunteers to bring and use their own gardening/work gloves, masks, reusable water bottles, snacks, and hand sanitizer.  


Parking is available along side the garden on Bridges Ave.
