THE PANTRY - Atlanta (Mobile Pantry)

THE PANTRY - Atlanta serves food to the community on Saturdays from 10 am - 12 pm or until supplies are gone. We are based out of Chapelhill Church - Atlanta located in East Point, GA.

We are looking for volunteers that are available to serve between the hours of 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.
***Groups Please Note***
*For groups of 10 or more please contact the Opportunity Coordinator via email to confirm available slots before signing up your group.
**The Group Leader must confirm the number of volunteers with the Opportunity Coordinator by the Thursday prior to the chosen date.
If the group size has been reduced this will allow for Waitlisted volunteers to fill those slots.

Volunteers must be flexible and willing to assist where needed. Depending on what type of food shipment we receive for that day volunteer support will be needed for breaking down bulk quantities of food, adding items to prepared boxes of food, and/or setting up tables and chairs for our mobile pantry process. Everyone is a part of the clean-up crew. From the start of distribution to closing, each volunteer is to assure that all food package debris and empty boxes are broken down and placed in the container(s) for recycling, this allows for everyone to have a clean and safe environment!
