StreetWise Mobile Food Pantry Friday Prep 1-14-2022

StreetWise Mobile Food Pantry will be on Saturday, January 15th, and we pre-pack the food boxes on Friday, January 14th, the day before.

We are conveniently located off of Hwy 316, next to the Gwinnett County Airport at 1770 Cedars Road, Lawrenceville, GA. 30045

Volunteers will arrive by 9:00 A.M. at the StreetWise facility and come to our warehouse entrance at the back of the building and ask for Becki Vera, our Warehouse Manager or Bonnie Moore, Volunteer Coordinator.

If you have a T-shirt that represents your organization, please, by all means wear it!

You can park in the front of the building or on the far-left parking area, then walk around to the back of the building (warehouse) to check-in and sign the StreetWise Volunteer Waiver form.

The boxes are packed via an assembly line, and we will fill approximately 300+ boxes with produce, meat, bread, and dry goods.  We should be done by 11:30 A.M. It takes a team, and we can guarantee smiles and laughter all around!

Please wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes preferred (no open-toed shoes), no earbuds or headphones for safety reasons, and leave personal belongings in the car or home. Volunteers under the driving age cannot be dropped off.  A parent or guardian will need to volunteer with them.

COVID-19 GUIDELINE: For your safety, we ask Volunteers to wear a mask if they have not been fully vaccinated.  Try to bring your own, since our supply is limited and not guaranteed.  If you or your group are unable to bring personal masks, please contact us ahead of time so we can try to accommodate those needs.

Court-ordered only for non-violent crimes.

*If you are a High School or College Student that needs volunteer hours, we can give you documentation that you volunteered at StreetWise 501(c)(3) Nonprofit.
