StreetWise Saturday Mobile Food Pantry Distribution- Friday Pack

Thank you for Volunteering and thinking of StreetWise Georgia and being the helping hands to those in need!  Our volunteers are a critical part of what we do.

Our Mobile Food Pantry is on the second Saturday of the month, and we pre-pack the food boxes on Friday the day before.

Volunteers will arrive by 9:00 A.M. at the StreetWise facility, come to our warehouse entrance at the back of the building, and ask for Bonnie Moore, our Volunteer Coordinator.  You may park in front of the building at the FAITH door and walk around to the back of the building to check-in and sign the StreetWise Volunteer Waiver form. With all helping hands Volunteers are done by 12:00 PM.

If you have a T-shirt that represents your organization, please, by all means, wear it!

Volunteers pack the food boxes via an assembly line, and we will fill approximately 400 boxes.  It takes a team, and we can guarantee smiles and laughter all around!

Please wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes preferred (no open-toed shoes), no earbuds or headphones for safety reasons, and leave personal belongings in the car or home. You must have your own transportation.  Volunteers under the age of 16 without transportation should not be dropped off.

COVID-19 protocols: **Please do not come if you are sick, or not feeling well** You will need to decline this volunteer invitation.  We are committed to keeping our facilities clean and safe for our Clients and Volunteers. For your safety, we ask Volunteers to bring their own masks. We have a limited supply, and we cannot guarantee that we have enough.

Court-ordered volunteering only for non-violent crimes.

*If you are a High School or College Student that needs volunteer hours, we can give you documentation that you volunteered at StreetWise 501(c)(3) Nonprofit.
